We’ve all heard the phrase “It’s not what you know, it’s who you know” – but at Xavier, that’s not enough for us. We infuse our Jesuit values into everything we do, including networking and mentoring, and that’s where the Professional Mentor Program comes in. Xavier’s Professional Mentor Program is in its 20th year of serving Xavier students, alumni, and industry professionals.
The program offers an innovative approach to mentoring by providing students with a practical application of networking skills, personal and professional growth, insight into the realities of their chosen career field and a “best professional friend.” For mentors, it offers an opportunity reconnect with Xavier, influence the growth of a student, and build your own skills as a leader. Once matched, the pair remains connected until the student graduates from Xavier.
