The Professional Mentor Program program offers an innovative approach to mentoring by providing students with a practical application of networking skills, personal and professional growth, insight into the realities of their chosen career field and a “best professional friend.” For mentors, it offers an opportunity reconnect with Xavier, influence the growth of a student, and build your own skills as a leader. Once matched, the pair remains connected until the student graduates from Xavier. The Professional Mentor Program has been around for 20 years and has served almost 4,000 students in that time.

We welcome students and mentors across all majors and industries. Mentee applications are accepted twice a year, once in the fall and once in the spring. If you have questions prior to joining, please email mentor@xavier.edu

Eligible mentors must have at least 3 years of professional experience, post-graduation. If you do not yet meet that requirement, consider joining Flash Mentoring.
